Cohesity, a company specializing in data security and management, has recently announced that both Cisco and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) will offer Cohesity Cloud Services (CCS). The main goal of this collaboration is to offer efficient data security and management solutions designed specifically for businesses operating in the dynamic hybrid and multi-cloud environments of today.

Over the course of several years, Cohesity has experienced significant advantages through its strategic alliances with Cisco and HPE, benefiting close to 1,000 joint customers worldwide. In 2017, a fruitful collaboration began as two prominent companies, Cisco and HPE, united their forces with Cohesity to offer seamless integrated data protection solutions. This alliance leveraged the cutting-edge capabilities of Cisco UCS servers and HPE ProLiant and HPE Apollo servers, ensuring top-notch data protection for their valued customers. These solutions simplify data management, strengthen cyber resilience, and enable organizations to recover rapidly in the face of cyber-attacks or disasters.

As a result of the collaboration between Cohesity and Cisco, more than 460 joint customers have been served. Notable examples include the Master Group and Pearl River Community College, both of which have implemented Cohesity's award-winning cyber vaulting service, Fort Knox. Similarly, Cohesity and HPE have jointly served more than 600 customers, including Citizen Potawatomi Nation and Proliance Surgeons, helping them transition to a modern platform that enhances data security and management while improving cyber resilience.

George Ciarrocchi, executive director of Systems and Networking, Information Technology at Millersville University, praised Cohesity for providing flexibility through a hybrid, multi-cloud model, meeting their data security and management needs, and achieving cost-saving goals. Curt Kwak, CIO at Proliance Surgeons, also commended Cohesity for offering data security and management solutions that improve flexibility and cyber resilience, and simplify system operations.

In today's landscape, organizations face constant threats from cybercriminals and nation-states, leading to increased security risks and operational complexities due to the distribution of data across hybrid, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments. Cohesity Cloud Services, which are fully managed by Cohesity and hosted on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, offer a portfolio of data security and management solutions, simplifying multiple data workflows. The services include backup and recovery, cyber vaulting, data isolation, automated disaster recovery, and threat defence, all provided as a service on a single platform. This simplification allows IT teams to focus more on critical business requirements instead of managing on-prem infrastructure, boosting IT productivity, morale, and business agility.

Cohesity has achieved remarkable success as a trusted vendor for enterprises globally, with strong growth in its cloud services business. Cohesity Cloud Services now boast a user base of one in five customers, while approximately 25% of all new customers and expansion activities are attributed to CCS. Additionally, nearly two-thirds of Cohesity Cloud Services' Annual Recurring Revenue over the past four quarters originated from enterprise customers with revenue exceeding $1 billion, underscoring considerable interest from prominent clients.

The company continues to innovate rapidly, introducing award-winning, SaaS-based cyber vaulting solutions, FortKnox, and DataHawk, a service that assists customers in protecting, detecting, and recovering from cyber and ransomware attacks. Cohesity has expanded the availability of its cloud services to new regions worldwide, including Singapore and Southeast Asia, Japan, and the Middle East, aiming to serve more customers globally.

Chris Kent, VP of Product and Solutions Marketing at Cohesity, emphasizes the company's commitment to developing efficient and straightforward solutions to secure and manage data, regardless of its location. Jeremy Foster, SVP and general manager at Cisco Compute, expresses excitement about bringing simpler and cost-effective solutions to customers through Cohesity Cloud Services, especially in the face of increased data generation and complexity.
